Set Penny Tiles with Epoxy Grout Adhesive, It's Way Easier on Cleanup!

I used to cringe when a client (or my wife πŸ˜„) would ask me to install penny tile.

It was always so stressful with making sure I got all the thinset out of the thousands of joints

You might say, β€œWhy not use a small notched trowel so thinset doesn’t come through?”

I agree and it’s what I would suggest if you plan to use thinset, but you risk the chance of not getting great bonding and coverage to the actual penny tile. Its super important to have good coverage, especially for a shower floor

This is where Ardex WA Grout and Adhesive has been absolutely amazing!

I can now simply set the Penny tile with the same color grout I plan to use. No more stress about making sure joints are completely clear of thinset!

Ardex Sponges are my favorites!
