Custom Design an electric floor mat

A Custom Electric Heat Mat is truly the easiest way to add floor heat to a tile floor! Warmly Yours has a design tool that makes it easy to layout your room. Keep in mind you do not want the mat to be under any permanent fixtures, such as cabinetry & appliances. Check out the Warmly Yours Design Tool

Simply apply a modified thinset to adhere mat in place. I recommend a 1/4” x 3/8” trowel and to make the thinset a very wet consistency (use the highest water ratio for mixture)

Embed floor heat mat

Embed mat into thinset. I like using a wood float to do this 👍

For areas outside of the custom heat mat I recommend using Mapei Eco Prim Grip before tiling. This primer has a fine aggregate in it that provided superior bond strength for thinset & floor leveler applications.
